A: S&S is a direct-pay practice, which means I do not bill insurance. However, I can provide a superbill upon request so you can submit it to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Q: How do I schedule a visit?
A: Booking is easy! Just call or text 850-303-6797 and I will get you booked! Members receive priority booking and same- or next-day availability.
Q: Where do you travel?
A: I serve families along 30A, SRB, Destin, and beyond -- for a fee depending on travel distance and time - just send me a message and we can work it out!
Q: Do you offer COVID, flu, or strep testing?
A: Yes! Rapid testing for flu, strep, RSV, COVID, and urinary analysis is available during sick visits. I also provide wound care, nebulizer treatments, and more!
Q: Who will be seeing my child?
A: All visits are conducted by Samantha Beard, a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, with over a decade of pediatric experience.
Q: Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
A: Yes! Most families can use their HSA or FSA to pay for services. I can provide itemized receipts (superbill) upon request.

Q: What if my child needs labs or imaging?
A: I can order labs through Quest or LabCorp and provide referrals for imaging or specialist care if needed .If you have standard insurance, these are covered based on your plan.
Q:How are the virtual sessions conducted?
A :Virtual visits are done through Spruce Health- a HIPAA compliant platform. This is also how I perform secure text and phone consults.
Q: We’re here on vacation — can we still use your services?
A: Absolutely! I love supporting vacationing families who need quick, trusted pediatric care while away from home. Prescriptions can be sent to the pharmacy nearest you!
Q: Vaccinations - what's the deal?
A: I do not carry vaccines! I do however offer counseling and direction for any parent who chooses to do so, and can guide you in how to obtain them. I SEE ALL CHILDREN DESPITE VACCINATION STATUS.

Q: What are your typical response times?
A: I try to get to text consults immediately, however if I am with a patient, usually within the hour. Members do have access to evening response time, please see hours on services page.
